Arab Capital of Culture 2008,  the Association of Friend of Maloula, presented a conference for Dr. Emiliano Martinez Borobio last November 17.

More than 300 assistants to the conference who treats of  the importance and the  history of Aramaic language along of the history and his universal projection for a language who borned in Syria .

We have now inscriptions and writings witch demonstrate us that the Aramaic language was spoke since after the Persian Empire till nowdays.   

Emiliano Martinez Borobio  is Licensed in Semitic Languages by the University of Barcelona and Doctorate in Semitic languages for the Complutense  University of Madrid.

Is expert in language Aramaic and akadia in the Syrian Age of Iron and his Aramaics dialects like that as the first Aramaic versions of the Bible.

It has published numerous articles about Aramaic texts. Nowadays he is a titular scientist of the CSIC.
